Thanks for choosing
WorldWideWeb Tax to
prepare your tax return.
Our Guarantee: If, after preparing and electronically filing
your tax return, the IRS and/or State rejects the e-filed return for any reason
you will not be charged the $25.95 for federal e-filing and/or the $12.95 for
state e-filing. You can still make changes to the
tax return
and try to e-file again. To view common IRS rejection codes so that you can make
corrections and re-transmit your tax return click here. If your
tax return is
still not accepted by the IRS you can
always print your tax return and mail it in for $25.95. Or mail in the state
return for $12.95. To find
out where you should mail the printed return click

Updating
Your Browser:
Caution: WebTV may not work in this e-file system. Try it and see.
If you are experiencing trouble with your browser you
should update it. Click the link below to update your browser. It's free. |

| System
Administrators: |
| In order to prevent employees from shopping at work on
company time, some network system administrators block employee access to secure servers.
Because our system receives and transmits confidential tax data we use a secure server.
Thus, the data you send us and the data we send you is encrypted. If you cannot access our
secure server from work your system administrator probably has access blocked. If you are doing
your tax return during your lunch break or before or after hours you may want to discretely
ask your system administrator if you are blocked, although sometimes they won't tell you.
If you are blocked try doing your tax return from home. If you do not think this is the
problem read below or send an e-mail to webmaster@wwwebtax.com

| Secure
Server Certificate Errors: |
If you are using Netscape 3.x, you may see error messages
regarding your secure server certificate if you try to login to the system unless
you have updated your Thawte certificate.
Certificates are necessary at both ends of the secure
server (SSL) connection, one with your browser and one on our web site. They enable the
transmission and reception of secure encrypted information between the browser on your end
and the server on our end.
Thawte is the second largest certificate authority after
Verisign. They issue certificates for sites and for browsers. The browser certificates
come free with your browser but expire after a time. Thawte's certificate for Netscape 3.x
expired in July, 1998. You will also find if you are using Netscape 3.x that your
Verisign certificate will produce similar results at some point. Thankfully, the
certificate authorities, the largest of which are Verisign and Thawte, are issuing
certificates that will last much longer in the future.
29% of the secure servers on the internet use Thawte
certificates. You will probably want to either update your certificate or update your
browser some time soon. Why not now?
Update
your browser certificate here, free of charge with an automated process.
If you have trouble with that process, then visit the Thawte Site for instructions.
Alternatively, you can update to one the latest versions
of the Nets top browsers. They have certificates which will last for years to come.
To update your browser to the latest version click on the button
above. |
