I moved. How do I notify the IRS of my change of address?

If you have moved, you need to notify the IRS. That way the IRS can change their tax records so that any tax refunds due to you or any other IRS communications will reach you in a timely manner.

You should advise the IRS of your change of address by filing Form 8822.
